Eibhlín Mulroe

Mindful Nation Ireland

Eibhlín is CEO of Cancer Trials Ireland.  She began practicing mindfulness 15 years ago and has been an advocate for it ever since. Having worked in politics in the early part of her career she believes it is essential that our decision makers need mindfulness for their own and the country’s benefit.

Eibhlín has also worked in the NGO sector, including as CEO of the Asthma Society of Ireland. She was an Account Manager with MedMedia, and became the first CEO of the Irish Platform for Patients’ Organisations, Science and Industry (IPPOSI) and Chair of a Task Force in the European Patient Academy for Therapeutic Innovation (EUPATI).  Eibhlín was appointed by the Irish Minister for Health to the Department of Health Steering Group on Rare Disease Policy in 2010.

She is a member of the Royal Irish Academy Life Sciences Committee, the Governance Committee of Blood Cancer Network Ireland (BCNI), the Advisory Board of the Cork Clinical Research Centre, the Ehealth Ireland Committee, and the Steering Group of The Irish Health Research Forum.  Eibhlín holds a BSocSc Hons from Queens University Belfast and an MBA from the Smurfit Business School, University College Dublin.
